Consent Policy
Last Updated: October 17, 2026
This Consent Policy explains how Sarwat obtains, uses, and manages your consent to access your financial data. This is a foundational element of our commitment to transparency and your control over your information.
1. What is an AISP?
Sarwat operates as an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) under the open finance framework. This means we act as a secure bridge to retrieve your financial information from your bank or asset management company (AMC) and consolidate it for you.
2. Your Consent is Required
We will never access your financial data without your explicit, prior consent. We obtain your consent through a clear and prominent authorization process.
3. Scope of Consent
When you provide consent, you are authorizing Sarwat to:
- Access your account information (e.g., balances, holdings, transaction history) from specific financial institutions you select.
- Use this data to provide the Platform's services, including portfolio consolidation and AI analysis.
- Retain the data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
4. Your Right to Withdraw Consent
You have the absolute right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- You can revoke access for specific accounts or for all data sharing through your account settings on the Platform.
- Upon withdrawal, Sarwat will immediately cease accessing your data and will delete the data it has already retrieved, subject to any legal or regulatory retention requirements.
5. Consent and Third Parties
We will not share your data with any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the service (e.g., sharing with our distribution partner, Finclude Systems, for advisory purposes, as detailed in our Privacy Policy).
6. Security of Consent
Your consent is managed through secure, tokenized APIs on the Sarwat.io platform. This ensures that your data is accessed only with your permission and that the entire process is auditable.
